We had booked a room for a surprise birthday party for my mother in law, the staff were brilliant. Room was set up as asked and they couldn't have been more helpful all night. Buffet was fab too.

his is the 4th time we have visited this hotel. As before the rooms are very comfortable and staff welcoming. What has changed is that the food has greatly improved! The haggis stack starter was very good. Went to a wake the following day there and the food again was simple yet tasty

The hotel room was newly refurbished to a very high standard. The room was clean, comfortable and very cosy. The staff were very helpful and well turned out. We had a very tasty continental breakfast with a varied selection.

We stayed here for one night to visit family nearby. The rate for dinner bed and breakfast was very reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the room. Staff were pleasant and helpful and we will certainly be back. Customers from the bar made a racket as they left at midnight but that was the only downside. Otherwise nice to see that the hotel has "upped it's game" in recent times.

Meals and breakfast were good, all of the staff were extra friendly and helpful, when I asked at reception if Burnside had a railway station, and could I get to Glasgow Central the reply was immediate, yes, its 3 minutes walk from the hotel and the next train is 15.26. The train access to Glasgow was good, very frequent and ran from Glasgow almost up to midnight

Food is very good. Breakfast enormous, and freshly cooked. Evening restaurant menu is very good, and quality excellent.
